MUBAS was established through legal authority granted by the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences Act of 2019.

The MUBAS campus clinic is located on the main campus and supports the health and wellbeing of students and staff.

The clinic provides primary care, health education, immunisation support, reproductive health services, counselling and emergency care.
